Ways to cool down on a hot day.

Mum and dad got me a cooling vest, I wasn't very keen when Mum first put it on me as it feels a bit strange but once I realised it made me a bit cooler I was ok to wear it, and if it starts to dry out a bit I can jump in my pool and get it wet again so that I don't get too hot.

I thought that was good, but then I heard some music playing from somewhere, not the good stuff Mum and Dad listen to but some other strange music, and Mum said they should it was getting close and they should go and get one, I didn't know what they were talking about and next thing I know they have both gone and abandoned me, they didn't shut the back door or anything?

But the soon returned with something they called "Ice cream" and they had got one for me! Mum held it for me whilst I tried it and it was cold and creamy and sooo delicious, I got Ice cream all over my nose and even a little bit up my nostril's, but I soon liked my nose clean and oh how my tail wagged, I sat and licked that little pile of happiness till I got down to the crispy bit and no amount of licking was doing anything to that, Mum broke off a piece for me so I could crunch it then I realised this bit I would have to bite bits off and crunch, it still had some ice cream on it and was crunchy and yummy, my tummy was cool inside and very very happy. I think I could like hot days!
